Partnerships
Local Film Journal considers collaborations that help readers discover local film culture while keeping editorial choices independent and transparent.
Suitable collaborations
We consider clearly defined projects connected to film screenings, venues, community film groups, film education and locally made moving-image work. Possibilities include a commissioned resource, an event-related information feature or a useful reader offer, provided it fits the publication and can be described accurately.
Partner placements
Relevant partner placements may appear across the website, including in shared promotional areas and on pages where readers explore related subjects. Placements are clearly labelled as partner material and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. A listing or collaboration does not imply endorsement.
How we assess proposals
A useful proposal explains the organisation or project, the intended audience, what is being offered, the proposed format and any payment or other benefit. We do not accept arrangements that require control over independent editorial decisions, unsupported claims or unclear labelling. Start a conversation through the Contact page and choose the partnership option.
A film night is a shared act of attention
The screen matters, but so do the choices around it: what is shown, where people gather and how the evening makes room for everyone.
